Join with your colleagues to enhance your understanding of Parkinson’s disease at this interprofessional education event for healthcare providers, jointly provided by MAHEC and UNC Neurology’s Movement Disorders Center, a National Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence. The Center’s mission is to increase access to specialized, high quality care and resources for individuals with Parkinson’s disease across NC.

Please encourage your patients with Parkinson’s and/or their family carepartners to attend a half-day Community Event: Parkinson’s Empowerment on Saturday, June 18, 2016. In addition to educational sessions, there will be regional service organizations, therapy centers and support groups with exhibits.
